/Holly Tin is a 10sqm garden studio built within the grounds of a private residential home.
A compact addition built to sustain a new ethos for a work/life balance.
Hidden at the bottom of a garden in a rural setting the material palette and form are referential to the agricultural buildings in the backdrop. It is dressed with locally sourced larch and wriggly metal cladding.
A simple interior palette plays on the use of standardised materials to make a non-standard finish. Timber frame, timber insulation, and timber cladding make for a truly carbon-friendly building.
